Hi, I'm Sarah!
I am an intrapreneur, design strategist, and empathy-driven leader who finds excitement in ambiguity and loves collaborating with diverse teams to tackle complex problems. I'm deeply motivated by my desire to democratize access to products, services, and opportunities in order to achieve a more equitable society. In my career, this has materialized through my work in the social impact sector, but also translates to my passion for human-centered, inclusive, and sustainable design.
I have over 10 years of professional experience working in technology and innovation and have held roles across product, UX research, customer success, and team/people management. My work has also spanned several markets (including 5 years on the African continent) and sectors (e.g., energy, health, education, agriculture). I recently graduated from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with an MBA and MS in Design Innovation, where I honed my business strategy and design thinking skillsets.
In my spare time, you can find me rock climbing in off the beaten path destinations, experimenting with new recipes (vegetarian Thai Larb is a recent favorite), exploring coffee shops with my friends, or traveling with my partner in our self-built live-in sprinter van!
